Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-29

GPTS24 (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) is a Silicon Valley–based hub for AI news and research reports. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit www.gpts24.com (in English or Chinese), how we use and protect it, and how you can exercise your rights.

By using the site you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you have any questions, you can reach us using the contact details at the end.

1. Scope

This policy covers only information that GPTS24 itself collects and processes. Our articles link to papers, official announcements, other publications and other third-party websites; those sites are run by their own operators and governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

You can read news, report summaries and topic pages without registering, and we never ask for your name or email to do so. We collect information only when you use the features below:

  • Account information: when you sign in with Google (your first sign-in creates your account), we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and keep a record linking your Google sign-in to your account. We never receive your Google password. For the few accounts that have a site password (such as the administrator), we store only an irreversible hash of it, never the password itself.
  • Subscription and payment information: Pro subscriptions are paid through Stripe or PayPal. Your card details are collected directly by the payment provider; GPTS24 never sees or stores them. We keep only what the subscription needs: its status, plan and renewal or end date, and the customer and subscription IDs the payment provider assigns.
  • Contact form information: the name, email address and message you submit through Contact Us, the language channel you submitted it from, and your IP address at the time.
  • Technical information collected automatically: when you visit, our servers and analytics tools record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the referring page and the time of your visit. Failed sign-ins and form submissions are also counted per IP address to rate-limit abuse. Article view counts are kept only as totals and are never linked to an individual.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the service: creating and maintaining your account, keeping you signed in, and checking whether you can read a premium report in full.
  • To handle subscriptions: starting, renewing, changing and cancelling them, and resolving payment problems.
  • To send necessary email: welcome messages, password-reset links, and subscription and billing notices. We do not currently send marketing email or newsletters.
  • To respond to you: handling enquiries and partnership requests sent through the contact form or by email.
  • To keep the site secure: detecting and blocking brute-force sign-in attempts, spam submissions and other abuse.
  • To improve the site: using aggregated traffic statistics to understand which content is useful and what needs work.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds:

  • Essential cookies: to keep you signed in (a sign-in session lasts 30 days and ends when you sign out), for security purposes such as protecting against cross-site request forgery, and to remember the language channel you chose. Signing in does not work without them.
  • Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics to tell visitors apart and measure traffic, as described in the next section.

We do not run advertising and do not use third-party advertising cookies. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can refuse or delete them in your browser settings, though you will not be able to sign in if you refuse essential cookies.

5. Google Analytics

The live site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to measure traffic. It uses cookies to collect the pages you visit, your approximate location (inferred from your IP address), your device and browser type, and how you interact with pages. We do not send your name, email address or any other information that directly identifies you to Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For how Google uses this data, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is necessary, and only in these cases:

  • Service providers: to run the site we use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google (sign-in and analytics), Stripe and PayPal (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery). They may process the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of GPTS24, our users or the public.
  • With your consent: in any other case, we will ask for your consent first.

7. Storage and retention

Our servers and database are located in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States.

Account information is kept for as long as your account exists; when you ask us to delete your account, we delete it together with its linked sign-in records. Subscription and transaction records may be kept longer where financial or legal obligations require it. Contact form submissions are kept for a reasonable period after they are handled, so we can follow up.

8. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes, sign-in sessions can be revoked on the server at any time, and database access is limited to the people who need it. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.

9. Your rights

  • Access and correction: you can see your account and subscription status on the Account page. Your name, email address and profile picture come from your Google account; update them there.
  • Managing your subscription: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time on the Account page.
  • Deletion: you can email us to ask that we delete your account and the personal information associated with it.
  • Withdrawing access: you can remove GPTS24’s sign-in access under Third-party apps & services in your Google account.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@gpts24.com. To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity first.

10. Children’s privacy

GPTS24 is intended for adult readers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top, and we will flag significant changes prominently on the site.

12. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, email info@gpts24.com or reach us through the site’s Contact Us page.
